Stroll the Church Street Marketplace

Hang out at a sidewalk cafe

Stroll and hang out at the Waterfront Park and Community Boathouse

Pick up a free copy of Seven Days weekly for ideas and for music and art happenings

Walk or ride on the waterfront bike path – 6 miles of waterfront

Visit Oakledge Park on the south end of the Burlington waterfront

Visit South Burlington’s Red Rocks Park and walk the woods paths

Watch the sunset over the Adirondacks from the Waterfront Park

Rent a kayak at Perkins Pier or at North Beach

Cross country ski at Bolton Ski Area, Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, or Sleepy Hollow

Attend a show at the Flynn Theater, Flynn Space, or see a movie at downtown’s Roxy

Do a brewery tour or tasting:

  • Switchback,  Citizen Cider, Zero Gravity.  Queen City Brewery, Foam (on our street or very near)
  • Magic Hat, Fiddlehead (short drive)

Visit the Burton factory store and headquarters

Take a ride on the Ethan Allen lake tour boat or one crewed sailboats at the Boathouse

Hike in the mountains (pick up a hiking guide book)

Take a mellow hike at the Audubon Society in Huntington, or the breathtaking Shelburne Farms in Shelburne, or Shelburne Bay Park, or Mount Philo State Park, or the Ethan Allen Homestead in the Intervale right in Burlington.
